Landlords + Tenants

📬 Notices

Move-outs, rent increases, and other changes made visible.

Background

Why

Key moments — like a rent increase or a move-out request — often rely on unclear conversations or disappearing messages.

F.estate gives you a place to log and notify users about sensitive changes. You can upload the relevant documentation and check if it’s been seen.

What

A Notice is:
- 📌 A structured, timestamped update
- 📄 Often paired with an uploaded legal document (like a Section 13 notice)
- 🔔 Delivered through in-app banners, push notifications, and reminders
- 🧠 Displayed on the lease timeline for ongoing visibility
- 🧾 For informational clarity, not legal enforcement. This is an upcoming feature.

F.estate makes it easier to track and notify, but it’s still your responsibility to ensure legal delivery if required.

How it works

📝 Create a notice

Select the notice type (e.g. rent increase, move out), fill in the key details, and upload the official file if applicable.

📲 Notification is sent

All connected users are notified via the app, with in-app banners and push alerts highlighting the change.

📍 Logged on the timeline

The notice becomes part of the lease record — visible alongside any documentation uploaded.

User Benefits

🧾 Central log of changes

Whether or not it’s a legal notice, it won’t be lost in the chat or forgotten later.

🔔 Everyone is notified

Push and in-app alerts keep all parties aligned — no awkward follow-ups or re-explanations.

🚫 Not lawyers

You keep control of how legal notices are issued. We just make it easier for everyone to see and stay on top of them.
