Trying to find an apartment to move into in during the winter of 2021 in London, our Founder found a trail of bad behaviour from estate agents that included:

That's when the question became clear: why hasn't anyone fixed this yet?

F.estate was built outside work hours, without funding or backing.

What began as sketches and late-night code became the foundation for a platform shaped by real experience, not industry assumptions.

We took the rough prototypes out into the world and showed them to anyone willing to talk. Landlords. Tenants. Agents. Strangers.

What we heard most was the need for:

What began as one platform became three distinct platforms.

F.estate went live with a full platform. The first landlords switched. The first leases signed.

The system held. And the mission got louder: replace estate agents with software.
